Shibata in Chofu

It is a very unique ramen, use a more western way to make their char siu, salty and dry. Combine with the soy soup base, is different enjoyment to other Ramen. The rice dish is another highlight, the shiitake gives a full aroma for finishing. Overall, fantastic stuff.

A soy sauce ramen shop that is very popular in Tokyo. I waited for about an hour, and the location was more than 10 minutes on foot from Sengawa station, so I had no chance to go there. .. I happened to have a chance to go nearby on a rainy day so I decided to drop by. Arriving at 13:10 on weekdays, there are four people in line. It took 20 minutes to line up as it was and put it in. Go to your seat after purchasing a ticket at the ticket machine. Special soy sauce soba (1 special pork and chicken pork each, 2 wontons, additional flavored balls are added to order) About 5 minutes before ordering. It looks like it's volumey. The taste is royal soy sauce. Chicken and pork tend to be soft pork but I don't really need two. The taste ball is normal. Wonton was hot and delicious.I think the total taste does not get tired until the end. There was no line around 13:40 when it came out.

Also go before a holiday of opening, an hour and a half wait. It was great column. The taste was a delicious cup of duck broth.

Another home run! This ramen is amazing!! It's a bit on the heavier side, but the flavors and taste is well balanced. Oh-so worth it!!

I honestly didn't think it was that good but may be preferences play a huge role. The soup is incredibly oily and thick for something that looks so light. Line is quite long so I would come expecting at least a thirty minute wait.

I visited during lunch time.I had a good feeling that there were a few seats, probably because of corona measures!The salted ramen 850 yen is very good and goes well with coarsely ground pepper. Two kinds of char siu are very delicious.However, because it's a super famous store, the expected value was too high without a hump ('-') ..........

It’s great taste. The type of ramen is “chuka”. You have to walk more than 10mins from the station. Most of the passenger is Japanese. You need to wait if you come weekend or lunchtime.

Sophisticated flavor with Shoyu, but I was not personally so impressed as its reputation.

Fell in love with this ramen! The soup was so special! I took a basic one(soy sauce and chicken broth), and the marriage of broth and oil was perfect. And also the char-siu chicken was so tender and tasty. I completely agree with that this shop is placed 1st rank in the ranking of the most familiar online reviews in Japan as a ramen shop. It opens at 11am, so we got in the queue at 10:30, and there were already around 10 ppl waiting.

The first Soy Sauce Ramen I've had and it wasn't a let down. All the locals come here after work so be prepared to wait around 15-20 minutes. It's well worth it. The balance of saltiness in the soup is great, I enjoyed it and wouldn't have minded if it was a little more salty but each to their own. I was also happily surprised about the consistency of each bowl that came out, they all looked the same. I would go back in a heart beat.
